Kazakhstan Recovers Over 6.5 Billion Tenge from Internet Fraud Victims This Year

Kazakhstan has returned over 6.5 billion tenge to victims of internet fraud since the beginning of the year. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported a 21% decrease in online fraud cases, with 8.7 thousand fraudulent websites blocked and 187 million scam calls prevented. Overall crime rates have also fallen by 15%.
