Kazakhstan Sees Sharp Decline in Mortgage and Auto Loan Issuance
In August, mortgage loan issuance in Kazakhstan dropped by 16.4% year-on-year to 240.5 billion tenge, with a 19% decrease from July. Overdue mortgage debt rose by 16.2%. Auto loan issuance also fell by 17.1% to 170.6 billion tenge. Overall new loans to individuals decreased by 5.7%.
