Kazakhstan's digital marking system, Naqty Onim, has identified over 7,500 instances of expired medicines being sold across more than a thousand pharmacies. The vice-minister of Trade and Integration stated that 27,000 packages intended for free distribution were also found in commercial sales, leading to fines and corrective orders for pharmacies. Over 470,000 cases of relabeling were also detected.
