Tajikistan and Regional Countries Agree on Water Resource Monitoring

At the 95th meeting of the Interstate Coordination Water Commission of Central Asia in Turkmenbashi, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan discussed water resource management. They reviewed the 2026 vegetation period water intake and reservoir operation, and agreed to develop an automated water accounting system for the Syr Darya basin.
