Iran Reports Fourfold Increase in Industrial Drug Seizures at Afghan Border

Iran's Khorasan Razavi provincial border guard commander reported a fourfold increase in the seizure of industrial drugs at the border with Afghanistan. Over the first six months of the current solar year, 1.5 tons of drugs, including opium, heroin, and industrial narcotics, were confiscated. Industrial drug seizures, particularly methamphetamine, have quadrupled compared to the previous year.
