Tajikistan Sets Minimum Age of 18 for Labor Migrants

Tajik citizens can now only leave the country for work if they are 18 years or older, according to a new law on migration. The law, published on October 23, also stipulates that labor migration is permitted only to countries that ensure the protection of migrants' rights. This age restriction also applies to foreign citizens coming to work in Tajikistan.
