Creator of R.O.I. financial pyramid arrested in Almaty

The Financial Monitoring Agency has announced the arrest of the organizer of the R.O.I. financial pyramid in Almaty, which operated under the guise of a consumer cooperative. Victims were attracted to participate in programs for acquiring movable and immovable property through пай (share) accumulation contracts and monetary contributions. Currently, 275 citizens have been recognized as victims, with a total damage of 217 million tenge.
