Botir Kudratkhodjayev Appointed New Defense Minister of Uzbekistan

Botir Kudratkhodjayev has been appointed as the new Defense Minister of Uzbekistan by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Kudratkhodjayev, a Major General, previously served as the First Deputy Interior Minister. He also led the Ministry of Emergency Situations and held various prosecutor positions before his current appointment, replacing Lieutenant General Shuhrat Kholmukhamedov.
