Kazakhstan to Increase Threshold for Monitoring Mobile Money Transfers

Starting November 10, Kazakhstan will raise the threshold for monitoring mobile money transfers to 537,000 tenge per quarter. While the total amount for three months will increase to 1.557 million tenge, this change does not permit accepting payments for goods and services via personal cards. Banks will report suspicious transactions to tax authorities.
