Uzbekistan to Allocate $2.5 Million for New Bridge Construction at Turkmenistan Border

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has ordered the allocation of 25 billion Uzbek soums (approximately $2.5 million) for the construction of a new bridge and road infrastructure in the Alot district. The current bridge, built around 1980, is insufficient for the growing transport needs. The new modern concrete bridge will serve the border trade zone and logistics center.
