Kazakhstan Connects 370 Rural Settlements to Internet, Expands Digital Infrastructure

Kazakhstan has connected 370 rural settlements to the internet this year, laying 11,819 kilometers of communication lines. Deputy Prime Minister Zhaslan Madiev announced plans to cover 40,000 kilometers of roads with communication by 2027 and install over 500 antenna-mast structures. The country has also deployed over 4,000 5G base stations in more than 20 cities and launched Direct-to-Cell technology.
