Two Foreign Nationals Arrested in Tashkent Region for Attempting to Sell 2.2 kg of Opium

Two foreign nationals were apprehended in the Tashkent region while attempting to sell 2.18 kg of opium. The State Security Service reported that the men, aged 54 and 50, had illegally smuggled the drugs into the country. They were caught in the act of selling the narcotics for $20,000 to a conditional buyer. Criminal proceedings have been initiated.
