Suspect Arrested for Transporting Large Quantity of Drugs from Astana to Taldykorgan

Kazakhstan police, in coordination with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Astana police, have intercepted a drug trafficking channel. A 32-year-old man driving a Geely car was stopped in Astana. During the search, two packages of powder were found. Authorities seized 2.148 kg of mephedrone and 506 grams of α-PVP. A further 992 grams of α-PVP were discovered at a hidden location indicated by the suspect.
