Only three regions in Kazakhstan are prepared to address the issue of dilapidated housing by 2029, according to Kurultai deputy Amirbek Ospanbekov. Out of 61,367 apartment buildings, 1,037 are in a dilapidated state. Over the past three years, only 352 such buildings were demolished and 200 new ones constructed, representing 0.3% of the total housing stock.
