Obid Hakimov has been appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform and concurrently serves as Rector of the "New Uzbekistan" University. He previously advised on economic policy. Ilhom Sirojev, his predecessor, was appointed Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education.
