Kazakhstan to Implement Electronic Visa System for Foreign Nationals

Starting November 1, Kazakhstan will introduce the QazETA electronic visa system at Aktau airport and select vehicle checkpoints. Initially recommended until July 1, 2027, it will become mandatory thereafter. Applications must be submitted at least 72 hours before travel. The electronic visa is free and valid for 180 days. Exemptions apply to children under 16 and citizens over 65.
