Uzbekistan to Allow Voluntary Social Tax Payments for Non-Working Family Members to Build Work Experience

Starting January 1, 2027, officially employed individuals in Uzbekistan can voluntarily pay a social tax equivalent to 12% of the minimum wage monthly for non-working family members to accrue work experience. From October 1, 2026, individuals working under civil contracts will automatically gain a year of work experience upon paying the social tax.
